Dr. Elisa Dorothea Kochskämper
Wissenschaftlerin | Politik und Planung

Elisa Kochskämper ist seit Oktober 2019 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Forschungsgruppe Urbane Nachhaltigkeitstransformationen (früher: Forschungsabteilung Institutionenwandel und regionale Gemeinschaftsgüter). Von Dezember 2020 bis Ende 2021 leitete sie das Instituts-eigene Leitprojekt „Kritische Infrastrukturen. Die politische Konstruktion, Räumlichkeit und Governance von Kritikalität“. Im Fokus ihrer Forschung stehen urbane Klimapolitik, insbesondere Klimaanpassung, urbane Resilienz und politische Verstetigungsprozesse.

Elisa Kochskämper studierte Politikwissenschaft an der Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität München (2005-2011) und der Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexiko (2008/2009). Sie promovierte an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg (2014-2020, Dr. rer. Pol.). Dort war sie ebenfalls seit 2013 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin beschäftigt und forschte insbesondere zu Umwelt- und Wasserpolitik. In ihrer Doktorarbeit untersuchte sie die möglichen Umweltauswirkungen verschiedener Lernmodi und -mechanismen für die Wassergovernance.  Vor ihrer wissenschaftlichen Laufbahn arbeitete sie als Junior Consultant der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in der nationalen Wasserbehörde im Umweltministerium Mexikos (2011/2012). Aktuell habilitiert sie sich am Lehrstuhl für Politikwissenschaften der Freien Universität Berlin.

Brückenprojekte

Das Brückenprojekt „Disruption und räumliche Entwicklung: Konzepte zu raum-zeitlichen Dynamiken, Wahrnehmungsweisen und Handlungsstrategien“ setzt die konzeptionelle Ausarbeitung der Disruptionsheuristik fort, nutzt diese zur Interpretation von empirischen Befunden in der Leitprojektforschung (und darüber hinaus) und nimmt umgekehrt Anregungen aus der Empirie der Leitprojekte in die konzeptionelle Weiterentwicklung auf. mehr Info

Städte im „Globalen Süden“ denken transformativer

Städte müssen sich gegen Bedrohungen wie Hitzewellen und Überschwemmungen wappnen, also: resilienter werden. Doch es gibt verschiedene Arten, über Resilienz nachzudenken. Ein neuer Fachartikel nimmt Städte in den Blick, die sich in einem globalen Netzwerk für Resilienz engagieren und vergleicht dabei Städte des "Globalen Norden" und des "Globalen Südens". Das Ergebnis: Es gibt viele Ähnlichkeiten. Unterschiede zeigen sich aber dabei, ob Resilienz eher als Verteidigung des Status Quo verstanden wird oder als Weg der Transformation. mehr Info
