Guest Reserach and IRS Fellowship
The IRS is an interdisciplinary institute that welcomes visiting researchers from a wide range of disciplines, including economic and social geography, political science, sociology, urban and regional planning, history, and the history of art and architecture.
During their stay, guest researchers engage in close exchange with IRS research groups and scholars. They benefit from inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration, including opportunities to develop joint publications, lectures, and project proposals. Guests are integrated into a dynamic research environment with strong links to universities and non-university institutions in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. We encourage guest researchers to actively participate in and contribute to the institute’s workshops, lectures, and academic events.
You can finance your stay at the IRS with your own funds of external funding such as a scholarship or a collaborative project. We also invite you to apply for an IRS Fellowship.
