Staff:Stefanie Döringer

Stefanie Döringer is a pre-doc researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Institute for Urban and Regional Research. At the University of Vienna, she works as academic associate within third party funded projects and as external lecturer. She studied Sociology, Spatial Research and Spatial Planning at the University of Vienna. Currently, her research interests lie in local and regional governance, entrepreneurship and social innovation in peripheralized regions. In her PhD thesis, she focuses on entrepreneurial individuals and their role for economic development in small-sized cities in Austria.
