Works Council

The works council is the elected representation of the interests of the employees of the Leibniz Institute for Research on Society and Space. It works together with the employer in a spirit of trust to ensure compliance with collective bargaining and other rights and obligations and to achieve a balance of interests for the benefit of the employees and the company. The tasks of the works council include concluding company agreements, participating in recruitment procedures and other processes of personnel selection, continuous communication with the employer and the employees and mediation in the event of conflicts.
