Andrew Cumbers is Professor for Management at the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School. Bevor he moved to Glasgow, he worked at the Universities of Durham, Middlesex and Aberdeen as a researcher, lecturer in economic geography and in economic development. As researcher his areas of expertise are rages from Economic geography over Urban and Regional development, Public ownership, Economic democracy to Employment relations. In addition to his activities at the University of Glasgow he is Managing Editor of the journal Urban Studies and has served on the editorial board of Work, Employment and Society. Furthermore he is also a collaborating researcher with the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development and has been a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Cologne and Frankfurt.
